A Division Order is generated after a new well or wells have been drilled or a transfer of interest has occurred. A Division Order was sent to you because our title records indicate you own an interest in the property described on the Division Order form. Please review and sign the Division Order and return the form to our Owner Relations team via email to ownerrelations@avantnr.com or via mail to 1515 Wynkoop Street, Suite 700, Denver CO 80202.
Federal law requires individuals to provide a Social Security Number (SSN) and requires partnerships to provide a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) on an IRS Form W-9. This information allows Avant to generate Form 1099 at the end of the calendar year to report royalty revenue.
Please send a copy of the filed conveyance of record in each county in which the well or wells are located directly to our Owner Relations team via email to ownerrelations@avantnr.com or via mail to 1515 Wynkoop Street, Suite 700, Denver CO 80202. Once the ownership transfer is processed, Division Orders will be distributed to confirm ownership.
Please notify our Owner Relations team of the deceased owner and provide the appropriate, recorded, probate documentation in order to transfer the interest to the heirs and devisees. The documentation provided must meet all legal title standards of the state where the property is located and be recorded in the county where the property is located. There is a minimum balance threshold of $25 and owners will only receive a check if production sales exceed $25 each month. All unpaid royalties remain in suspense until the minimum balance is met. There are various other reasons you might not receive a revenue check, including changes in production, an address change, and a need for a signed Division Order. Please contact our Owner Relations team if you do not receive a check for two consecutive months.
